The Collective ( Mountain Bike) The Collective is a group of filmmakers, photographers and mountain bikers. By drawing on the experience, expertise and creative energy of every member of the team, The Collective has created a film that portrays the newest, cutting edge images of the freeride progression while exploring the thoughts and personalities of the riders leading that progression. Instead of a constant stream of riders throwing themselves off cliffs, the DVD is a mixture of sweet singletrack riding, north shore, big drops and trials riding, the Ryan Leech sequence being a genuine highlight of some of the smoothest moves committed to film. When we set out to make this film, we werent sure exactly where the journey would take us. The end result reflects many hours of work and fun by a large group of people, brought together because of a shared bond riding bikes.
